Meet Your Host, Emilie

Expert humanitarian and development consultant | Holistic Coach

Emilie is an international development consultant and humanitarian aid worker with nearly 15 years' experience in a range of roles that have taken her to multiple fragile contexts such as Afghanistan and Eastern DRC. 

Emilie has always had a strong drive to help others and perform at maximum capacity. However, her past striving to excel in her career ended up negatively impacting her health and wellbeing. Emilie's workaholic tendencies, when fused with the tragic loss of several family members and chronic back pain, led to a rock-bottom moment and then a wakeup call. Embracing - and then become certified in - a diverse range of healing modalities including neuroscience- and trauma-informed life coaching, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, and yoga, has resulted in the best of both worlds: she has a career that she loves and knows how to safely feel her feelings, step out of negative thought patterns, and connect to what her body truly needs.
