Day 2 Challenge

  • Post a picture of your Peaceful Place in the Facebook group and tell us a little bit about why it's special. Remember that the more you engage on FB, the better your chances are for winning a prize!
  • Download Insight Timer and search for a topic that interests you. Try a 10+ minute meditation and journal about your experiences in your own journal or on the PDF.

Day 3: What Does It All Mean?: Finding Spiritual Balance in a Dogmatic World

  • In the Facebook group, share a photo of an altar, photo, talisman, crystal, special book, or any keepsake that you have that makes you feel safe and connected to yourself, those around you, the earth, and beyond. Remember that the more you engage on FB, the better your chances are for winning a prize!
  • Download the fillable PDF or use your journal to write a letter to whatever you believe in-- a god, an angel, an ancestor, an older version of yourself, the earth, fate... really anything that you feel has power and knowledge beyond what you have now.

  • Reach out to 1-3 people that you love, respect, or have had a positive impact in your life who you haven't spoken to in a while. Tell them something authentic and true about how you feel about them. Share what happened in the Facebook group!

  • Do something special for your body today--eat some nourishing food, go to bed early, take a bath, get a massage, go for a walk. Post about it in the Facebook group!

Meet Your Host, Emilie

Expert humanitarian and development consultant | Holistic Coach

Emilie is an international development consultant and humanitarian aid worker with nearly 15 years' experience in a range of roles that have taken her to multiple fragile contexts such as Afghanistan and Eastern DRC. 

Emilie has always had a strong drive to help others and perform at maximum capacity. However, her past striving to excel in her career ended up negatively impacting her health and wellbeing. Emilie's workaholic tendencies, when fused with the tragic loss of several family members and chronic back pain, led to a rock-bottom moment and then a wakeup call. Embracing - and then become certified in - a diverse range of healing modalities including neuroscience- and trauma-informed life coaching, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, and yoga, has resulted in the best of both worlds: she has a career that she loves and knows how to safely feel her feelings, step out of negative thought patterns, and connect to what her body truly needs. Now, she offers this proven healing framework to you to help reduce your stress and anxiety, overwhelm, and feelings of isolation, grief, and sadness.

Emilie is currently based on the tiny island of Gili Air, Indonesia with her husband and four cats.
